Rory, the owner, honed his skills over 8 years in New Zealand before settling down in Noordhoek and opening his brewery. Aegir operates out of what used to be the old Red Herring bar and restaurant; it spans over two floors, with the downstairs being open and light, while the upstairs boasts incredible panoramic views of the ocean, providing one of the only spots in the area where you can relax with a cold one and watch the sun go down.

Aegir has dedicated itself to creating some of the best beers we have ever tasted; they are unique and creative, and the list is extensive, with seasonal beers popping up throughout the year.
