This little gem of a rooftop bar is set in an attic on the top floor of this two-century-old heritage building. The space is split in half with an outside and inside area; large stacking doors make the spaces flow into each other with ease. Old hard wooden floors and bar counters with a mix of leather couches and low tables fill the inside room, while the outside area is lined with benches and a wood-fired pizza oven that adds some warmth on colder evenings.

They serve perfectly blended cocktails that pique the tastebuds, refreshingly ice-cold beers on tap, and an incredible selection of wine. If you are feeling peckish, they have two Japanese-inspired restaurants occupying the two floors below that serve some amazing dishes for you to try.
We could not be more certain about a rooftop bar in Cape Town than we are with Tjing Tjing. They have stood the test of time, and for good reason: excellent cocktails, great vibes, and tasty food.
